About Us
Water's Edge of Lake Wales, a locally owned and managed senior living community, exists primarily to provide a secure and enjoyable residence for its older, long time residents of Lake Wales who have contributed much to the community over the years. It enables them to be near their families and maintain contacct with their friends nearby.
Since the facility opened in early 2009, the residents have been entranced by the small town, friendly atmosphere that exists here. Water's Edge not only provides freedom from household chores for its independent living residents, but also provides assisted living in a somewhat separate, but interacting area for its residents who need some care on an around the clock basis. For those who have serious memory problems, there is a bright and cheerful secure area to assure their safety and comfort. All areas are accessible by family and friends who are always welcome. The Lake Wales Medical Center, a modern, complete hospital, is just down the road.
The campus is 39 acres overlooking a nice lake and wetlands full of typical Florida fauna and flora.
